The number 1 question our support team gets asked quite often is “Can I use your traffic on a website monetized with Adsense ads?“….
Well, yes and no…The short answer is NO, you shouldn’t buy web traffic to an Adsense site. The longer answer is that, while technically you can send our traffic to ANY ad site, that doesn’t mean that you should.
It is against the terms of Adsense to send “artificial” traffic to any website with their ads on it. Meaning visitors who aren’t genuinely interested in the ads who may artificially click those ads without real intent.
Think of it this way…If you were an advertiser paying for every click on those ads, wouldn’t you want the audience to be sincerely interested in what you are showing to them? You wouldn’t want to pay for artificial clicks, right? No, of course not!
Plus, and perhaps most importantly, Google can detect “bad” clicks and your whole account could get banned anyway, so why risk it? Having said that, however, we’ve never had a client’s account actually get banned after using our traffic, but it is important to understand that it IS possible and it is a risk with ANY ad network, as they all prefer to get visits from real people interested in the ads they are showing. Makes sense, right? YES!
Buying website traffic is great for many things, but generally not for ad clicks, sorry!
